Product Care Instructions

At NOVAE, every piece is crafted with premium materials and intentional design. To keep your garments looking their best, please follow the care guidelines below.

General Care

• Always check the care label inside your garment before washing.
• Turn garments inside out before washing to protect prints and graphics.
• Wash similar colours together to prevent colour transfer.
• Do not use bleach or harsh chemical detergents.

Washing

• Machine Wash: Cold water only (30°C / 86°F max). Use a gentle or delicate cycle.
• Hand Wash: Recommended for printed or embroidered pieces. Use mild detergent and cold water.
• Do not soak garments for extended periods.

Drying

• Air dry in shade — avoid direct sunlight to prevent fading.
• Do not tumble dry — heat can shrink fabric and damage prints.
• Lay flat to dry for best shape retention, especially for oversized and cropped styles.

Ironing

• Iron on low heat only.
• Do not iron directly over printed graphics or embroidery — use a pressing cloth or iron inside out.
• Steam ironing is safe for plain fabric areas.

Storage

• Fold and store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
• Avoid hanging heavy knits or oversized tees for long periods as this can stretch the fabric.
• Store away from sharp objects that may snag the fabric.

Category-Specific Notes

Oversized T-Shirts

Lay flat to dry to maintain the dropped-shoulder silhouette. Avoid wringing or twisting.

Baby Tees

Hand wash preferred. Avoid high heat at all stages to preserve the fitted shape.

Shirts

Iron on medium heat (inside out) for a crisp finish. Hang after ironing to avoid new creases.

Vests & Tank Tops

Machine wash cold, gentle cycle. Air dry flat. Avoid stretching the armhole area when wet.
